I will just type the standards for the day on a half sheet of paper and then clip it with the clothespin. I stick all five for the week and then remove the top one after school.

  7. One more question about the baskets. Do they spill very often? This is my first year in K after 4th/5th who have desks. A very overwhelming change.

    1. The baskets underneath the chairs are secured with a zip tie. I do not have baskets on the tables anymore. They keep their crayons in a ziploc bag in the basket under their chair.

  8. You are going to love the extra space that giving up a desk creates. Good decision. Thanks for sharing. Liz :)

  9. Jennifer,
Your room looks great! Your new word wall looks adorable. Do you have your word wall cards available to purchase? I saw your word wall packet on TPT, but couldn't tell if those were in that packet.

    2. I hope you can. I love those and they would work perfect in my classroom. I looked for something today at Lakeshore, but couldn't find anything I liked. Then I saw yours and they are perfect! Do you have a multicolor banner that matches those? I like the green, but I would rather do more colors. I couldn't get the multicolor ones to show the thumbnail for some reason.

    3. Would you like it to be editable so you can use your own font for the headings, or do you want mine? I can do both.
